Working
The bag filter/ESP in normal operation will be under negative suction.This negative suction of equipment will keep the explosion door tightly shut and it will be kept in position by a pair of specially designed magnetic locks, In the event of the equipment changing to positive pressure from the present negative pressure of 1400mm WC, which is an aberration from normal operation, the explosion door will open and release the pressure.As soon as the pressure is released the door will come back to the normal closed position and the operation can be continued as usual.
The advantage of this over the explosion vent is that no shut down is required in the event of pressurization.
